No Terry didn't go down there. Really didn't wanna fight the people. We went on some of the very little public lands we have here in this area. And wouldn't you know we still had someone try and run us out!! State land is State land Capt. get back on yall $50k leases!!

I might go down on Friday Terry, i'll call and let you know.

It was terrible. We came back sat. 2nd weekend and the birds are already as they would be last weekend of season.

That's why i don't go out there much. Hopefully that will stop some "Duck Commanders" from making the run, but i wouldn't plan on it! lol

i have never seen so many people hunting, and so much sky busting in my life as I did this weekend. I blame it on Duck Dynasty.

Same here for our opener. I seen blinds with 4 guns blast at ducks everytime unloading. Birds were no closer than 200 yards. First time in 15 years of hunting the wax that the second weekend is like the last day. Birds shy from blinds and are rafted miles offshore

Game warden said there was twice as many hunters this year, and they killed half as many ducks. Go figure.

I am a rookie

I don't know how to call so I don't bother wasting my time trying.

I won't shoot unless they are over my dekes. I like to wait for them to be cupped and committed.

I will give space. There are too many spots to hunt to ruin someone else's place.

I will not pull up at dawn and start setting up. You got their first it's your spot. You snooze you loose.

I will not joy ride/rookie scout at 07:30 opening morning.

I work shift work so I like to hunt during the week when there are less yahoos running around, but I ain't scared to brave the crowds either.

I am a rookie, but I have common sense. My dad didn't duck hunt. I am learning as I go. If any of y'all seasoned vets would like to show me a few things I am always down to meet somebody new. I'll even supply the food, gas, decoys, boat, or whatever else.

So I am a rookie. I love to duck hunt. I have common sense but no beard. Do I qualify as a duck commander wannabe?

When we came in at 930-10 on the opener the warden said only 3 groups had come in with all their ducks. Group behind us was shooting at ducks 2 trees high. A short confrontation solved our issue. There's a lot of stupid ppl and I think 85% have a duck boat.
