Put a message on Craigslist. Last two dogs I found owners found them because of my post. |

Make a post on LA Sportsman and Bayoubucks, lots of people on those two sites. I would be willing to bet if someone lost the dog they have put word out and someone will see the post. |

Bring it to a vet and see if it has a chip, if it does it will be in national registry |

Sad part is most people don't think to chip their dog. It is cheap insurance to do it. I suggest to everyone to get it done. At pet festivals you can get it done for $25. A vet will do it for about $50. All mine are, any foster we get wil be. |

Chips are great but they do not always stay in place. One of my dogs chips slid down on his chest. I had a second put in between his shoulder blades and now I have my vet check once a year to make sure it is still in place. |
