My yellow lab (snapper) went missing on friday. She normally wanders off and romes the neighborhood for a half hour or so when i let her out. She's been doing this for the last 5 years. Well on friday she never came back. I looked and looked with no luck. I figured she got hit, ran off and died. I had a big meeting at work today so my wife started calling around (pound and animal control) with no luck. She then happens to call a vets office 2 streets over. Low and behold one of the workers saw her friday and they got her and boarded her over the weekend. Her name tag had fallen off awhile back and I never put it back on. They were going to identify her by the rabies tag so I would have got her back anyways.

This is sure going to make opening wknd much better by having my hunting partner of 11 yrs by my side. Esoecially since she was never late.

To have lost a "family member" of that many years is a tough row to hoe... BUT, to get her back is a cause for celebration in my book - Glad she's back!

That bitch!

I guess the moral of the story is don't let your women rome...they may eventually leave you:lol:
