Our rescue just recently picked up a 2 y/o male chocolate lab from an owner. The short of the story is he was sold as a pup to a family and the seller saw that he was not being cared for and chained outside. So the guy took him back. The dog is now with this guy Eddie (son of Mr. Eddie). He is a cop in Thibodaux. He does obedience training. His dad Mr. Eddie (who sold the dog as a pup and took it back) does K9 training for depts. all over. He has been working with him for the last 6months and is doing very good with obedience. Not sure if he could retrieve ducks, but he is house broken, gets along with other dogs, loves kids. The foster he is at now says he's a little thin and could stand to gain 10lbs or so. If anyone is interested in giving this guy a good home, let me know and we can get him adopted. He will be up to date on shots, microchipped, and neutered. He is HW- and on ivermectin. |

He does look good and fit . He has a good built for a waterdog . Hope someone gives him a good home ! |

Watched some videos of this boy over the weekend. He fetches, he's fast, jumps high. Probably would make a great DockDog and possibly a duck dog with some training. He's starting to fill out and look much healthier. He is being fostered in Lafayette if anyone is interested. I'll try to get more pictures of him. |
