My puppy is nine months old. He will retrieve anything. Also at a very high rate of speed. Did not really force fetch him. He will pick up or bring anything to you. But when he brings the dummies back, he wants to pop them in his mouth. If I make him sit, and hold a dummy, and tell him fetch, he'll just sit there with it. But if he's coming back on a retrieve he's popping it in his mouth. Any ideas or tricks would be so helpful. Thank you

Get a dokken. They don't pop. Or canvas for out of water work. He's doing it because the plastic bumpers have the water bottle effect to pups, they like the sound it makes cuz they feel like they're tearing something up. Dogs won't head shake with a dokken either because the heads are hard and beat the shit out of the dog if they head shake

Well you haven't properly taught the fetch command (force) so how can you command him to do something he hasn't been taught. Force fetch and all aspects that go with it (force to pile, walking fetch, water) are all the hub for the rest of anything you are trying to teach in my opinion . A good ff program will put you miles ahead of where you are now

If you goose hunt at all I'd recommend getting the dokken goose. That's about as close to a real goose as you can get without having a dead goose.
