Have any of you guys tried out these guys for building a mud motoor either long tail or surface drive?
I'm thinking of building one perferably a surface drive but with a harley motor. Anyone tried that yet?
Ive also tossed around the idea of a inboard surface drive in my husky jon little bit of work but I think I can do it just need to figure aout a nuetral and reverse for it any Ideas

There's a few guys on here that have put Harley motors on a surface drive frame, try the search button. You can buy the outdrive units for a surface drive too, just have to do some searching.

f-n-r, i was thinkin about the axle gear box on a gas golf cart.

Bout the only 2 places that would sell an outdrive for a horizontal is MB and Bog Hog.

Kyle at GT said it was an insurance issue, and Warren is pretty tight about his product.

I even offered to ship them the engine for assembly and got no results.
