 1644 gd boat and 23 mini gps
Ok guys I just ran my 1644 gd boat and 23 mb mini,I gps my deep water top speed at 22.4 mph with just me 3 cans of spray paint one battery and gas can and two life vest lol. My prop is 10 and 3/4s big, not for shure what it should be. Motor is all stock. How much speed do y'all think I will loose after two benelli one more guy at 200lbs and two dozen dekes.thanx for any input

I think it is supposed to be an 11x10.

Any one got any input on what my speed might change to if I went exhaust and heads. 22mph to. ???

25 empty with an carb too....And that is no load in boat.
Just guesing however...

1st, prop needs replacing. It should be 11" like Woodie said. 2nd, I bet you can get a few more rpm out of it now by tweaking the carb & govenor a lil bit. 3rd, You're probably only gonna get ~23-24 with a good prop & everything set right with it stock. After the mods, realistically, I'd say ~26-27 running empty.

ok i have a 23 GTR on a 1648 so i'm 4 inches wider but when my motor was stock i ran 21.8 to 22.4 deep water. after exhaust and mikunki carb i ran about 22.8 to 23.2 deep and 24.9 to bumping 25 once. thats empty. add another guy and decoys and hunting gear and shallow i ran like 20.6 to 21 even. add another guy and 17ish.

Your ribbed bottom Weldbilt is gonna be slower than a slick bottom mud hull. When I went from that 1548 G3 to a 1644 GD with same engine, I picked up 2 mph.
