i got a new 23hp vangard an it stalls out when im on the throttle for a good while any help on what can cause that would be appreciated thanks

are you losing your fuel prime?

maybe a little but there is still sum gas in the inline fuel filter but not alot

pump your bulb next time and see if it starts running good again. If it does you might need a new fuel pump. I would try the bulb before you go any further

ok ill try that so by fuel pump do u mean i will need a new primer bulb?

your fuel pump should be similar.

Sounds like an air leak in your fuel line, bad pump, or trash in the carb. Probably air or trash though.

i took it back out today an it done it agin, i had allready went through an checked my gas line it seems to be fine, an its a brand new motor i have only had it out 6 times, but once i squeezed the primer bulb it would fire right up, but a lil bit after it would die out agin?

This has happened to me before and I did the same thing as far as checking all the possible gas problems. What it ended up being for me was the oil level. Apparently I had too much oil in the motor, and after running for a while, the oil level would rise and cause the motor to bogg down. Maybe try taking out a little oil and see if that helps.

My Vanguard 23 did the same thing to me when I first bought it and I could not figure out what was wrong. It was under warranty so I took it to the local service provider and he said there was some "trash" in the carb and he flushed the carb and it has ran like a champ ever since.
