In regards to SD in general, is their a problem with vegitaion hanging up on the belt housing when running at lower speeds, i am sure it self clears at WOT.

Occationally I get some vegetatle build up when idlelin around. But all you gotta do is push down on da handle and it all goes away. Takes about a half a second and five additional calories.

depends on if there's water under the grass, the thickness of the grass, the motor operator, and the trim level of the motor.

sumtimes it's best to put along trimmed all the way down and make big balls of the grass, other times it's easier to trim high and let it slide over the skeg, u just gotta play with it and see what works for u.

most of the time it's easy, sumtimes it's a biatch and i go get the airboat

Thanks for the input, I am going to see if MB will build me a 27 mini with the longer out drive, sort of a Louisiana special mini combo. If i put the 32 in drive on it would it need to have the taller belt housing for the tall transom.

I just sold my 23 GDSD It was a great motor, but it was short and i need a tall , I wanted to go up in Hp but dont want to add any weight. so i thought i would try a MB, and for the record th GD would build up with Veg as well, and it was a short on a tall.
