One of the guys on the ride was the owner of GT boats. I would think they used the boat that would perform the best for the test. I haven't looked at the videos. Did they run through any 3' high lillies or idle through a hydrilla choked flat? That is wut we need to know about.

I just wasted 10 minutes of my life to watch GF struggle to reverse 50 feet. I like some of the innovations in the design of this motor, but I think he has a bit of work to do when it comes to reverse. This is not how I would prove the performance of my new design...

Stopped by the Boat Dr while they were mounting the motor on the boat for this demo. This was the same motor in the previous videos, with the stainless lower unit. Didn't even realize that was GF at Boat Drs.

Motor looks great, but have yet to see it put through the ringer. If it pans out, I see a Sport H in my future.

If that lower unit would spin 180 degrees when you put it in reverse..........then you would have something. As is, it looks like nothing more than an aircooled outboard.

they really need to video someone other than GF driving that thing. preferably someone who is used to LA mud.

It will probably be fine for most folks. Lets face it, most will not put it in that kind of mud anyway. I hope it works out great for those that buy it but you mean to tell me that after all the pre-orders they are just getting around to testing it in real mud???????? For those of you banking on having it before the season you better cross your fingers and have a backup plan.

Well, some things never change. I've got my cousin-in-law's MB here workin on it (45 mag only runnin on 1 cyl) & called to check in with him today. Come to find out the azz done went & ordered a Sport V with hopped up motor. They told him he'd get it in.... you guessed it, 3 weeks!!! I almost felt bad when he told me that & I started laughing.

GF's wife recently lost her battle with cancer. That set things back some on delivery dates. All orders made prior to July 10th will now be delivered from September thru January. The price increase went in to effect for orders placed after July 10th.

GF picked up 66 new orders this past weekend at the trade show in Lafayette from local dealers.

Well I got 2 Gtr both turning 4000 rpm's back their ain't a single motor no matter what gonna handle that job at 4300 or 5000 rpm's that with 6 people and gear !! The 2 motors on that dual rig at the show was both with stage 1's on it!!
