 boat porposing
With three men, dog, and hunting gear I am running 21-22 miles an hour, with me and one person in front I am running 26-27 miles and hour. I am fine with these speeds. But when in boat by myself, the boat wants to porpose really bad. Have a mudd buddy surface drive on back. I have heard not to put pods on one with a surface drive even small ones; what do ya'll suggest?

 Re: boat porposing
Weight distribution....You need more in the front somehow to keep the nose from rising when you're running solo. You can play with this by putting a big cooler up front and keep adding water to it until the porpoising stops. Then you'll know how much weight you need up there. Another way to fix it is to add hooks or tabs to the bottom on each side of the transom, but this is gonna hurt you're loaded speed, so I would just figure out a way to add weight in the front.

 Re: boat porposing
Start small and test from there. If your gas tank is in the back put it in the front. If it is already in the front, move your cranking battery to the front if you can.
