Re: mud motor on a final attack laydown boat???
I just bought the same boat and am finishing up my build of a 6.5 Mad mud motor and let me tell you...it is HEAVY. I'm gonna guess close to 100 lbs. Let us know how that works out.

Nose into 1 wave while under power, and your swimming with the fish. Have fun!

Re: mud motor on a final attack laydown boat???
Mine is about 60lbs, and I have since put a kill switch on it, that was an old pic. It is actually up to about 13hp now with all the mods. I hunt backwater sloughs and there is never a wake ever. It does better than you think it would. If you account for that heavy ass battery it is pretty close to weight. if you havent had a longtail on these laydown boats you would not know???????
