Why doesnt anyone build one of these to 25 or 30 hp? Seems like the go-kart guys build them regular and they are light wieght. Do they not hold up?

I got one I'm about to swap onto my 6hp beavertail frame. I'm gonna see how fast it goes and if it satisfies me then I'm gonna leave it alone but if not I will put a stage 1 kit on it and remove the governor... Should put it around 17-18hp...

they dont last long hopped up that far.

and they only make that kind of power at 6-8,000rpm's. Your still stuck with a small wheel spinning really fast, but to get to that kind of rpm's your not going to much better off out of the hole than a stock engine, they dont make the torque of an 18hp
