The "Trout Bucket" Rides Again! (Pics)
Finally got everything rigged up and power-washed and painted. Now all I have to do is wait for the ice to melt and I'm in business...
Cleaning it out,, pressure washing, replacing all the wires and switches that went bad over the last year and putting the deck and batteries and trolling motor back on, troubleshooting a few problems, servicing the motor, Torque checking all the bolts, rigging up the convertor, servicing the generator, checking the bulbs, washing the crap and bugs off my lights, ect ect....took about 12 hours. Run-out of the transmission that I was yapping about a while back is about .010" and I feel thats acceptable. I do need to replace the muffler straps still.
OOPS...Loading up when icebergs are coming at you in the river is always fun!

I'm not sure if you know this or not, but I just wanted to inform you, because it is a concerning matter, that you appear to have a swamp people boat in your driveway. That is all. Thanks A concerned citizen

I should have made it out of aluminum but it is really nice to shoot from. I think when I go duals I am going to go with higher sided boat with flat platform similar to Missles rig. It is nice to have the lights below you to keep the bugs out of your face in the summer months. You have quite the advantage on the fish and those 4-400's are way brighter than anything I have seen on any boat yet. LED lights just cannot compare IMHO. MY buddy has the 150HPS and they are comparable to the LED's that I have seen but the big 400's are where it is at for sure. 6 of them would be unreal and probably unnecessary but only if you had enough generator to run that many. I'd really piss people off with 6.... had a guy swinging a golf club at me a year ago because of the 4-400's at 2:00AM....lol Thought I was gonna have to Glock his ass...
