Re: Thank the Dems It was only passed by the panel. So now it moves to the Senate. Many of which are Dems, but live in Red/Pro Gun states. Or are up for re-election in 2014. Passing anything about banning guns is political suicide. They won't risk it.
Moral of the story, they won't do what is right for the people, Only what they can benefit from. Even "IF" banning AP style guns is the answer (we know it's not). They will not go against the grain in fear of being voted out. Once tagged, their political career is OVER.

Re: Thank the Dems Even if they do pass some kind of ban, I seriously doubt some government agents would come around knocking door to door asking for you to hand over your assault weapons. And if they did, just have a real good hiding spot picked out...what they don't know you have won't hurt em.
