Oh I see, those are "misinterpretation".

If the bible as it exists today is misinterpreted in parts and translated incorrectly in others, how do you know which parts are to be taken literally and as gospel? Let me guess, it's the ones that support your beliefs and reinforce your prejudices.

You didn't answer the question. If there are mistakes in "the written truth" as a result of mistranslation/misinterpretation how do you know that the verses you live your life by are not also incorrect? Do you have a little orphan Annie secret decoder ring?

It always amuses me that when you present a christian apologist with contradictions or false claims from the bible they are always the result of a misunderstanding, or shouldn't be taken literally, or it was a different time back then.

All the books of the Bible, written in their original language, are the written truth. It is people (you in this case) that try to define what was written as something else. People try to take things out of context to give it their own atheist meanings or contradictions. One goal of the enemy is to give you doubt about God. once he gets his foot in the door, he can work on other areas of your life to gain control.

Like I said in my previous post, if we all spoke, read and wrote Hebrew, you would better understand the misnomers and doubts the enemy has planted in you.

I am glad to know you are still questioning the Bible. It is a sign that you have an interest in it and are seeking the truth. There is still hope for you, Paleo. God still loves you. All Christians still love you. Have a Blessed day!
