Ok ill go back and check when i can get on home pc. What i found had no holes. Much better idea than cutting up the boat for speaker install.

They are pretty damn loud. Tried to take a video but I guess you can't play music on your iPhone and record video at the same time. Will get more pics and video tomorrow though

I have the 6.5" double ended ones. I think I need to get a brace mounted under my extended deck though. It's not as solid as I thought it was gonna be http://www.bazooka.com/products/marine/ ... Ended-S100

 Re: Show your boat stereo
I am trying to put together a stereo. I would like to find a compartment to go in the dash where you can plug a cord into the phone, set the phone on a shelf, and have a door to keep the rain out. Does anyone make something like that? I'm not sure where to look for one.

Looking for a smaller version of this, but instead of having the radio in it it's just an empty shelf to put the phone in, with a waterproof door.

This stereo has a built-in dock and Bluetooth. I just put one on my big boat. I have high hopes for it, but it's too early for me to give a review...

Not quite done yet. I think I'm gonna shorten it up before I get everything siliconed in. Then I will paint it.

They're both pretty good and versatile IMO. Should do great for frogging and fishing.

 Re: Show your boat stereo
Has anyone used one of these?
It says you just plug it into the amp and you can use bluetooth to play music from your phone. What kinda range does bluetooth have? Can it go through a cooler or does that gadget need line-of-sight to your phone?

I just got one of those Pyle amps also and planning to give it shot. Getting away from the head unit all together. It comes with everything but the I-pod (which I already had)

 Re: Show your boat stereo
bluetooth needs to be line of site.... you could put the blue tooth reciever on the outside of box and drill hole through box to run wires and silicone up.
