ya i know i need to wear the kill switch but its not connected the switch is a disconect switch and the best way to kill the motor is to go from the solonoid to ground which would be a conection switch so im going to have to figure something out.

its a 1448 i believe i need to measure the transom with a 9x5 prop, bushings in the shaft which is a 1" ID DOM pipe, the upper bearing is just a two hole flange bearing mounted to the shaft. i build everything from the ground up.

Bend the back tab of your cavitation plate up just a little at a time until the plate runs an inch or two under the surface of the water when you're planed off and running wide open. You'll pick up some speed and it'll be easier to handle when it's set properly.

not sure on the speeds yet but it has no problem planing me and one other person out but add a 3rd and it barges pretty bad. with just me in it it will haul ass.
