New gator tail 25 subaru

 New gator tail 25 subaruIm thinking about getting the new 25 gatortail for my 16'x42" aluminum skiff. How well do you guys think this motor willpush a boat this size, or do i need to upgrade to the 35, but i dont know if the boat can handle a 35
|

Re: New gator tail 25 subaru I have the same size boat with a 25hp, and it does great. With myself and one other person, no real load, we ran 28. This past weekend with 2 guys and fishing load, including trolling motor, extra battery, ice chests, etc., it ran 25. With three guys and hunting load with a boat blind it ran 22. Could it handle a 35? Maybe so, but I am happy with the 25.
