Im wanting to have an aluminum skiff built or buy an already existing model from a manufacture. I just need help figuring out exactly what to build. I want roughly a 16x38 skiff to run either a 23 longtail or 23 mudbuddy mini. For starters when talking about flotation like in the go devil skiffs why have it vs why not have it? Second i dont know what gauge aluminum to use on the bottom and / or throughout the whole build? And last for right now is there any other custom builders besides uncle j, W.C., or Kliebert that i should speak with when deciding who is gonna build it that yall recommend?

I have a 14x46 skiff with a 23 gd longtail I may wanna sell.

Im just not sure if i wanna go that wide. Just love the skinnier boats because what we hunt is usually to deep to wade and they are much easier to hide.
