Trying to get insurance on my new GT and Progressive just signed me up and promptly cancelled me saying they won't insure mudboats. Before I call 100 insurance places and sign up and get cancelled again, are there other companies I should avoid?

State Farm and they made no distinction between my motor and an outboard.

I have progressive they haven't dropped me I guess because I have two cars and another boat with them

State Farm but they pissed me off!!! Told me it would be no issue then I got boat and was something every week for a month! It's Insured but I showed my ass and told my agent to quit dicking me around and if they didn't want to insure it I would find somebody who would!!

State Farm, $300 for replacement cost on $22,000. All done on the phone and maybe 5 or 6 minutes.

Mine is with Safeco. Its $264 a year for full replacement cost on $16,000.

Seaworthy via Geico. $147/year form17k replacement value. It's a marine policy with named storm protection also. I might add that they increased my coverage (policy change) when I added my new motor two days befor Isaacs landfall and was effective immediately with a hurricane making imminent landfall in my zip code.

state farm, no issues

I had BoatUS, they took a while to get me my money but they paid in full for my boat.
Ill probably use them again for the new rig

Yep, I have State Farm too.. Did everything over the phone. I think it's right at 200/ year. You get a discount if you did that boaters course too. She just had me take a picture of the card and email it to her.

I just got a policy from Progressive for my GTB. They didn't have Gator Tail in their system so they may not recognize it as a mudboat. It was $229 for the year.

Mines Progressive as well. A little over two hundred a year. I have a gator trax as well. Just renewed my third year

I have charter lakes for my business. I also have progressive for my small boat. 300 a year 20k replacement value.

Have a thousand coverage for my gear. It is a full replacement policy. I tried to get a policy just direct through progressive but it was actually cheaper to go through an agent. Don't remember exactly how much but a good bit. Includes $750 towing as well

My bass boat and custom mud boat. Progressives insures for $241 per year. It's only liability right though.
