 New 18x48 Gatortail extreme
Well finally got to load the boat down today for a hunt. Both the boat and motor handled it like a champ. Boat turns on a dime and carry a load very well. I still never have let it eat or do I plan to. This is a few numbers today 3 big people 7 dozen decoy 50 pieces of cane 2 dogs boat blind 3 buckets and all the normal shit. 30 mph turning 4300-4400. Still didn't trim it out to see what it would do even with the load I never trimmed it out. That was deep water. Crushed at 4100 running 26 lil over half throttle with minimal trim

Is this your personal boat DDM? Thought you had a 1748 or am I mixing that up?

 Re: New 18x48 Gatortail extreme
get a low friction coating for the pad area only. put 4 bunks on the trailor one on each side the pad two down the middle where a stringer is. The rig will stay flat and not hook. It will work real well in the vegies and over logs with the gator glide or werlons on the pad. I put it over the entire bottom of my litttle kevlar rig. It was a real problem keeping it on the trailor when loading up. I could not do it by my self. if your going to sight fish with it, spray some sound proofing under the bow area if it is not floored there.
Even with the pad they can still be made to slip out. I had my 20 footer slide sideways one time in shallow water thick with vegies at 30 mph with a full load. I don't know what was worse when it sliped or when it caught again. I shit a brick !!!!!
