what would yall say an all 3/16 1748 will weigh, pointed bow sport deck rigged? I need the 3/16 for the bad stumps where i hunt but dont want a heavy ass boat that takes half a mile to get on step.. will be pushed by stage 1 36 pd.

Added up the rough shipping weight on the metal and it comes out to 550ish. I don't think your gonna run 30 with a stage 1 on that hull.

The one in the sig got parted out and bought a crate motor. As of now I have a stock motor with a gutted exhaust and carb. I run 28-29 empty on a custom 18x48 with 22" sides,.125 bottom. The motor in the sig had setx heads, rr,push rods, bps cam, .020 pistons and rods, carb and gutted exhaust. It would sheer the case bolts everytime I got in the canes.

My rig total weight is 1,380 pounds. Boat, motor, trolling motor, two batteries and 16 gallons of fuel. There is a link to the weight thread in my review thread on my signature.

If you had two boats built identical, one with 1/8 bottom and one with 3/16, you would barely tell a difference.

Just don't go outrageous with boxes and unnecessary bullshit and you'll be okay.
So what if it is a 29 mph boat and not a 30 mph boat? The way I see it if you don't get a 3/16 bottom it'll be hooked to shit and slower than a 3/16 hull anyway

I think it will run 30. Mine would run 31 with 1/8 sides, deep water.

From Aluminum ans Stanless, INC:

5086:

4 x 8 x 3/16 = 84
4 x 12 x 3/16 = 126
4 x 20 x 3/16 = 210

Go to their website. They have the weight of everything. At one point, I knew to within about 10 lbs without weighing it what my hull weighed when building it.

Appreciate that, I'll check it out and be able to get a pretty close guess.
