Gonna do a lil boat paintn and need a cheap sprayer to paint base coat. I have heard low pressure is best.

Even if u have a high pressure sprayer , just stand farther away from what ur spraying.

Don't forget your protective equipment. Two part epoxy paints can kill you dead. If you are using a one part, then it is no big deal.

I have gotten by with a cheapo HF sprayer and the throw-away air-driers. If you wipe out a gun that cheap it is no big deal. Dunno where you are, but Louisiana has lots of humidity so you want some kind of air-drier close to the gun. You want to do it before summer gets here. I have had a miserable time of it trying to paint a duck boat before teal season with the paint drying pretty much instantly and an even worse time trying to do fiberglass work in the heat. Even with slow hardener (which works the same way two-part epoxy paints work), I lost a big batch which started to harden before I finished mixing it and then started to catch on fire (exothermic reaction).

Don't forget to look at the CFM the gun requires. You won't be spraying with a pancake compressor on any of the guns I have seen.

I just bought one from Harbor Frieght for $30. Haven't used it yet, so can't tell you how it works.
