 Re: Windblocker for blind?
Are you talking to hold heat. My blinds in the past were made of canvas. Than I sealed them. Kept the temperature at 70 degrees even if it was 0 outside. Also waterproof. The downfall is that they are heavy

 Re: Windblocker for blind?
I went through magna fabrics a few times and you can get it dirt cheap. Sometimes you get it in a week other times it takes a little longer. Customer service is worse than mud buddy but the shit is dirt cheap Last time I got 30 lineal yards 60" wide for 75$. You can order online. I had 2 orders go smooth and one was a nightmare and ended up cancelling the order. I think its a bigger place and it sounded like he couldn't find the material i ordered he said they were in the process of moving to a new facility but who knows.
Cordura is light waterproof and windproof. Best backing ive ever used for a blind

 Re: Windblocker for blind?
I did my 1744 with 15 yards the blind wraps around my motor but ends at the start of my front deck where I throw a grass mat down. I made a roof section that covers the middle between my buddy and I

 Re: Windblocker for blind?
Couldn't you just put down a od green tarp first then your fast grass/raffia or whatever over it? Id think that would block wind pretty well and not to expensive.

 Re: Windblocker for blind?

 Re: Windblocker for blind?
I used the sun shade stuff from Home Depot. It comes in a tan/camo looking color that works great. Once the grass is on very little wind gets through. It's tough stuff and isn't too expensive and is sold in big sizes and lengths.

 Re: Windblocker for blind?
I used a tarp with 1/2" PVC filled with sand zip-tied to the bottom. The tarp doesn't blow around and make noise.

 Re: Windblocker for blind?
The 15 yards was cordura the DWR stuff. The roof section had cordura the front mat was fast fast grass mat I throw on the bow. What's nice about the cordura is its strong quiet and doesnt absorb water just beads right off. I used snow fence over top the cordura to zip tie grass to.
I live just outside Milwaukee but your on your own. I built a new blind the past 3 seasons. I got mine hung up in the garage ready to go all it is is 4 screwed and im ready to go. i dont feel like building a new one for a couple years.

 Re: Windblocker for blind?
The color on the bottom is what I used. I already had the black from something else. it's held together great. I sewed on the mats with string and a big ass needle.
