CB - I think one design is tying the transom (where motor mounts) to the false transom (end of "cabin" area) providing real or imagined support to engine mounting. Running your fuel / engine electrical in this area will provide better protection from wakes and splash.

The other is leaving the area between the transom and false transom open, a better area to mount and dismount rig while bog walking or recovering dogs and a real nice place to keep tools on or stand when working on your motor.

I have been wrong before - so it won't hurt my feelings if I am corrected

last time I checked this is a public forum? who gives a shit what people post or what they think about a product. I don't like all kinds of shit and will speak my damned mind. do I give a fuck if you disagree, or its a paid sponsor, or your business? not one damned bit. The reason the forum is free and public is because sponsors pay to have their banner run. There are things I don't like as well, and everyone is free to talk all the bullshit they want about any product regardless including my waterfowl calls. I've never disagreed with that right because it's a public forum. I'm going to bold this next statement since a few of you must have skipped part of the reply.

But when a person starts a thread, with the sole intentions of bashing a paying sponsors product. When this person is in some way, affiliated with a non paying person building the same products as the person paying; There's where I think the line should be drawn imo.

FYI: The boat in the first POST is an Xpress..........Not Excel.

The second pic is for sure an express. The first pic looks almost identical to my excel. So xpress copied excel, excel copied express, they all copied lake sport?????
