blind question for a boat that narrows....
Hey guys. New to mud motor talk & just got my first mud motor & boat. I picked up a excel 1645swf with a backwater inc. 27hp LS. Here's my problem... the boat is 60" wide beam in the rear but narrows up as it goes down too 45". Wanted too buy a blind but this is a issue. Will hang way over towards the front. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Don't be afraid to build your own if you cant find what you want. Buy enough conduit to built the blind plus an extra stick to learn how to bend it. I'm by no means a conduit bending expert. I saw it on tv and figured i could do it lol. Mine contours my boat really well all the way to the front storage just bc i took the time and played with it til i got it right. If you bend it too far just bend it back. Nothing to it!

I was going too go beavertail but the 1400 series is 60" wide set up so that will hang over a lot & won't cover the front of the boat. Then the 1600 series is 68" set up! Guess I might have too build.

It's not hard to do on your own. We mold ours with a 15" tire rim. Like stated above buy an extra stick for practice and save your self a few hundred bucks.
