 ceased prop help
Ive tried everything to remove a stuck prop and I cant get it to budge. let soak in pb.Even made a tool and bent it. Help!

On a 20hp Honda beaver tail and done tried that swamp donkey. Still wont budge

Cut it off with a cutting disk (not grinding disk) and pop it with a hammer and chisel, you're not the only one. viewtopic.php?f=41&t=50418

If all fails. , cut it almost to the threads like stated above , then apply a good amount of never seize before new install. , then periodically loosen prop and reapply never seize thruout the year. A good wire brush cleaning to the threads before applying never seize won't hurt either .

Haven't tried torching it yet. That was gonna be my last option before taking a metabo to it. I work at a machine/fab shop. I can get it off just wanted some input on what every one else has done

Well after two broke pipe wrenches and grinding down a wrench and two cans of pb blaster plus 2 ten foot sticks of cheater pipe. I got the prop off have to re thread the shaft. Somebody put lock tight on it.... I added plenty of anti seize but I got her goin again
