New Rig just in time for second split
I just finished my new rig. I did some things a lil different than I have seen on here. Any ideas or input from yall would be great. Please go easy on me as this is my first MM rig. Also this thing won't turn for shit. Any ideas or better yet pics of what I could do that won't take away from performance but help with the pushing in a turn would be great.

Re: New Rig just in time for second split
Stage 1.....you did heads, cam, and exhaust? Loaded speeds are decent.
I've got a round chine so I don't have the turning problem, but apparently you just "have to learn to drive it."
Nice rig!

Re: New Rig just in time for second split
Thanks guys! I was in deeper water by myself. The boat is heavy but should get to 30 when everything is right.

Re: New Rig just in time for second split
Best way to turn with a square chine is let off the throttle. She will turn on a dime then.
Good looking boat! Congrats on the build!

Re: New Rig just in time for second split
Nasty started the build. He did the main part of it and then me and the guys at work finish it out. Thanks guys for the kind words. She was labor of love. I say "she" cause it's only a she that I could have such a love hate thing with.

Re: New Rig just in time for second split
I'm not sure but it came from GT with it as part of the stage one kit. I really like the exhaust!
I'm wondering if I should ask GT for the plate covers up over the cutouts for the reverse plate support. They said they traced the few failures to a casting issue and has since fixed the problem but I saw on another thread that someone else just got a 2015 and it was solid. Any thoughts if I should just roll with it or get the modded plate before there is a problem?

Re: New Rig just in time for second split
Call gatortail. Baron called and they told him his did not need it. Mine came with the support plates bolted on. They should know based on your serial number.
