 bogging down i have a 23hp long tail and when its on the trailer it runs PERFECT but as soon as i drop the prop under the water it drops down to 1800 rpms.... id dont want to spend to much money trying to fix the problem.. any ideas to what it could be

Re: bogging down Check the coils...sounds like a something a buddy of mine went through and replaces the coils and it runs fine under a load now
