Friends buying a 24 honda beavertail . We are familiar with gd &mb ..... our question is are beavertail equivalent . Looking for reviews on beavertail brand. Wanna hear good bad and ugly. Thanks in advance

I had a 24hp Honda beavertail, ran it for 13 years all I did was wear out the props. had different owners of the company back then , It was the Fischer Brothers. I traded that one in on a beavertail with a 35 horse Vangaurd , have had it for 3 years and I am still happy Had a one problem with the bearing housing but called there # told them I wanted to talk to Research and development they put me thru to amechanic or engineer Problem fixed over the phone. I don't think much of there web site but product is solid and simple
