long tail or surface drive?

 long tail or surface drive? im in north louisiana own a rice farm and looking to get a boat and motor. I plan on using the rig to get to and from my pits in the fields but i also hunt thick flooded timber in arkansas and i was wondering what would be better with all the logs and getting around in the timber...advice would be great!

Re: long tail or surface drive? Welcome to MMT! Try the search button on top of the page. You can find a bunch of info that may help you out. Sounds to me like a long tail might be what you are looking for. I can tell you this. I hunt maurepas swamp and my Go Devil 35SD does really good in the sticks.

Re: long tail or surface drive? Check the for sale by owner forum...DavidG has a 20 HP Honda Go-Devil Crawfish addition that just might fit your situations...both of best worlds for what you need...
