new too this looking for advice I got a 10 ft jon flat bottom I have been lookin at the swamp runner kits cause there cheap and light dose anyone els run a swamp runner kits?

I ran one on a 12ft Jon for a few years for when my river was really low when I couldn't get my big rig in. It works great, my speeds where around 13mph empty and 10 with two people and gear that was with a 6.5hp motor. They are cheap but now that I know it will get the job done I just got a backwater light kit I haven't ran it yet but it's amazing the quality dif in the two. I would put your $300 into a backwater kit and you will be happy
