I have a 2015 gtr35, I put p&p heads, cam, mikuni, exhaust, pistons and rods in it. I put my factory 3 blade, which is worn a little bit, and I hit the rev limiter with it buried in the water. What would be a good prop for my setup? I do run the occasional mud, but 95% of the time I'm in open or shallow water. Thank you guys! I am pushing a 1851 f4 hull, thanks.

Not trying to hijack your thread MuddyWatter, but I'm having the same dilemma. I'd like to get another/spare prop, but not sure what to get. I keep checking GT's sight for the new 2 blade to come in, but they get snatched up as soon as they get them. Is there another prop that's comparable to or better than the new GT 2 blade? I looked at the BB's, but not sure which one to get.

I do not have the 4700 coils yet, but it is just not enough prop, I had a hopkins 2 blade, it was better but I am having some issues with that prop. I was thinking about the hammer prop, but was wondering if it would be to much prop.

Had the same problem, hitting the 4700 rev. limiter coils on my Modded BD 4500. Put a Hammer on it and it brought the RPM down to 4450 at WOT throttle. Lost about 1MPH. Hammer seems to wear better than the BB I ran before. And they say it will do better as it wears.??

Then either a Hammer or pitched up big blade.

I prefer the big blade pitched up.
With those mods you have you should be able to turn anything with no problem.

Yes. GTR 3-blade. It's a 14p right now with some light cup and polishing. Chris is going to add some more to it and mail it back. We got to take baby steps considering we are 14hrs apart

I hate a 3-blade in the mud and grass but everything else I enjoy it. And yes. I have an older two blade that has some work I run for when we hit the flats.
