 DOM tube ID question
Just picked up a piece of DOM?? tubing this morning for $1.93 a foot at local Machine shop. Suppose to be 1" ID, measure it and it's 1.05 ID which is almost 3/64" to big. Bronze sleeves measure exactly 1" OD, a lot of loose play! Is there that much tolerance or do I not have the right stuff??

 Re: DOM tube ID question
Normally on Dow tube it come in with the ID with in .002-.004 but normally large not small. Can't say wheather or not you have true Dom u less I see it. Do you have the ability to turn new bronze bushings? If not you better go find some different tube. Also the I'd of Dom is rarely perfectly consentric. But for your application maybe it's close enough?
