 Ticks
Cut the grass today and after picking everything up I noticed a tick buried in the back of my leg. I know you need to make sure you get the head out but it broke off in there and I can't get it out. The wife dug in it with a needle and tweezers but it wasn't letting go.
Now what?
I know I set myself up for some perverted comments but maybe I'll get a few good comments.

 Re: Ticks
Usually tweezers. But dont know now that its broke in 2. Be carefull with it because ticks carry lyme disease.

 Re: Ticks
Soften the area with baby oil and then scrape with something dull. When you find a buried tick soften the tick and area with baby oil or vasoline and then remove. They come out alot easier. Randy

 Re: Ticks
One found a home in my beard during hunting season, I don't know how long he was in der.... but when da first lady pulled him out for me da head came out too. He was stone dead though..... my bride said it was cuz I ain't got no blood in me, just ice water & whiskey. lol Maybe we can swap wives for a little while and let mine try to get it out?

 Re: Ticks
da match trick is bullshit.... da tick might come out, but he'll vomit before he does and you're more likely to get a more serious infection & or disease from da vomit than by rippin' his head off and having a little sore from it.

 Re: Ticks
Smoke him out. Cook the leg in a BGE using a lot of smoke. Cause of death, wife wanted a "Little smokie."

 Re: Ticks
Go lay in some chiggers. Ticks hate chiggers and will let go immediately.
Even if it doesn't, with the itching you'll forget all about the tick

 Re: Ticks
I have to deal with ticks alot where I hunt. I just grab em and pull em off me with my fingers. Works for me.

 Re: Ticks
Well next time BEFORE you pull on it cover it in cooking oil or vaseline. It wont be able to breath and will let go.

 Re: Ticks
when i was cruising timber during college, i got one in the middle of my back right where i couldn;t reah it. My wife, girlfriend at the time, got it out but when she pulled it, her fingernails tore it in half. My back swole up pretty good and couldn't sleep on my back for a few days. She kept putting peroxide and neosporin on it and it finally went away/rotted whatever. Ended up fine, just keep it clean and if it gets bad, go see a doc.
