 2011 Mud Buddy 35hp NON-CDI RPMS?
I'm a new owner of a used mud buddy 35 hp non cdi with stage 1 mods. Today I ran the motor for a good hour or so, but when i would hit WOT it seemed like it hit the rev limiter, when i trimmed the motor down some it would level out at 4330. So my question is what rpms should I be running at WOT?

Non-cdi with a mikuni should have a 5100 rev limiter on it. How high will it rev in neutral?

From your first post, I thought it was cutting out on you at 4300. What did you mean about leveling off when you let off the throttle?

4640 is out of water in neutral, 4330 is prop in water in gear. I was wondering if my rpms should be higher or lower. Or if it's safe at what I'm running

 Re: 2011 Mud Buddy 35hp NON-CDI RPMS?
Your safe at 4300. Much more than that though, and you will need to verify that your valve springs are shimmed so you don't float a valve. I'm assuming you have IM heads on the motor, so they should be shimmed, but it won't hurt to check. Check your lash while you have the valve covers off.
