Post GTR Case leak fix
Can someone post up steps on how to remove the belt, transmission, clutch, and pulley on a GTR? I need to take my motor to a shop near the house to get my case gasket replaced under warranty, but there is no gator tail dealer close so I need to break it down to just the motor for them to work on. I have done all this on a MB but not a GTR.

Thanks

Damn....once you get all that done, the case gasket is the easy part.

Post GTR Case leak fix
Drain oil in block
Remove
Clutch cover
Caliper off rotor
Drain oil out of planetary
Will be a 5/8 head bolt in center of planetary remove it
Then pull the planetary apart
The back half of the planetary U can bump it with a piece of wood and hammer, might have to drive it off. A puller would be better.
Then loosen up the motor bolts and tilt the motor down in the rear. That way u can work the belt of the pulley over the clutch.
Take clutch off and zip tie it up
U will wanna rock the motor toward the boat and place a board under the back that way u can remove the case gasket. And also with motor tilted that way, that lil bit of oil left in be block won't run out.

Then u can start taking the case apart.

Hope this makes sense and helps!

The clutch will come off easy. But the planetary will need a puller

Very important: cover the hole on the top of the belt housing to prevent stuff falling down in there. You will thank me later.
