does frog spit work as well when its rolled on, as it would when its sprayed on?

Dig up some of the old threads. Should be fine. I think they said start in the back and work towards the front. And roll it on horizontal, not the length of the boat. That way if it starts to chip off, it won't rip off the whole length of the boat in one big sheet.
Also you may look into a product called coat-it. Made by goop. One of the boys on here just did his boat, and my lil bro ordered some for his. Seems to be a very similar product, not quite as slick, but still pretty damn slick. Also about half the price, designed for the same thing.

It depends on were you running at.. if you are running the Lower Mississippi, Port Fourch., or Venise, you do not need anything on your bottom.. The floating oil will help you glide accross any surviving vegetation.
