 Fishing Caernarvon?
Any tips on places to launch and areas to fish around Caernarvon? I'm thinking about making a trip this weekend.

I think it's closed due to the oil spill.

Well Damn! I just looked at the updated map. One more reason to have a mudboat. You can always find somewhere to fish. Guess I'll be hitting some local lakes until.......
Thanks

 Re: Fishing Caernarvon?
Yea it sucks I was ready for some reds and green trout action by the house now thats all over. I can still fish Bienvenue but I have much more success and variety in Delacroix and Caernarvon. Not to mention my quick trips after night shifts for fresh reds are over also.
The worst part is this is far from over and the currents are going to pull/push it to the west also, the whole coast will be affected.

 Re: Fishing Caernarvon?
Well I went out there last week on Thursday and didn't see anything but mullets and I was looking hard too, I had my poles with me to fish for some reds . I drove al around too, drove back to Scarsdale and it looked like the raw sewer was pouring into the water; it was black as hell and it stunk like a septic tank overflow in a ditch. I heard that the water was over flowing the settling ponds from the shat plant. All I know is i wouldn't eat a fish from that area.
