With it bein the offseason, aside from riding around scouting a little bit, youtube videos are about as close as i can get to duck huntin. They've got me thinkin and i've decided that im gonna bring my video camera with me next year and video a good many hunts and try to make a video. I've got some pretty good ideas but i figure that surely im not the only one that thinks about doin this kinda stuff. If any of yall have any ideas that yall have thought about over the years id appreciate em. Any songs that yall would request would be nice too.

IVe take a couple videos on my phone of a damn good canvasback shoot. As far as songs go AC/DC for those about to rock would fit nicely in a duck huntin video.

I've done some video, but it's hard to hunt and record, I usually go for the gun . My only suggestion is not to say sht like "I got it on camera" or other dumb narrations, when I went back over my videos I realized it sounded stupid, so I dubbed it out Let the guns and the scenery do the narration.

bring someone with ya that dont mind watchin you shoot while they film. ive found out that is really the only way to do it so you get video of you hunting

I shoot video as well. I will use as many as three cameras, one on a tripod out in front filming back at the blind, one in the blind film the hunters, and one hand held. I even bought one of those bullet cameras last year, I tape it under the gun barrel then hook it to a video camera! Also, try to use a external omni directional mic that plugs into the camera for you sound!
