 Poling Platform Well my dad and I had been working on the poling platform this week. Finished most of it yesterday. Still need to mount it to the boat, add hydroturf to the deck, and paint it. Turned out real nice for our first one. I like it!
Marshbandit, can you post up some pics of your radio that is on your poling platform? I may want to add one to it. Thanks for the help.

Re: Poling Platform Pretty light to be honest with you. One guy can pick it up. I'd say less than 50 lbs. Need to make a new push pole though. Made one about a month ago but it is too short now. Want to make one that is 20-22ft long, but still light enough to use without killing the arms.

Re: Poling Platform Was thinking about painting it, but not too sure yet. Might just polish it and put a clear coat on it, then add some hydroturf to the top. Also want to make a box to mount a stereo and 2 speakers to mount underneath the deck.
