 Re: rig em right??
i have mine set up like that except my wieghts are avery keel grabbers(insert that little r here) and i have a loop on the end for a carabiner 5 foot of line is a little to long of line to have it thrown over your back carryin it behind you but i never get tangles and i usually never bring more than 8 or 9 decoys with me so its real fast to move onto the ducks. plus i can throw them in a decoy bag when huntin from a boat and the weights dont slide around.

 Re: rig em right??
I hunt with 5-8 dozen decoys during the season and stack them up in the boat wherever I can find room. Would this be the ticket for me or should I just stick to bagging them?

 Re: rig em right??
How well would the heavy mono or weedeater line work in 7' lengths without all the slides and clips, just straight tied and stacked in the boat? I gotta get new lines this year, I got a whole new decoy rig last year and my line was a clusterfukk, I bought the heaviest braided line from cabela's and it sucked, it was still too small and tangly.

 Re: rig em right??
I use the rig em right decoy weights. Love them. They rarely get tangled and are easy to toss.

 Re: rig em right??
I bought a dozen 42" Rig em rights. The stainless decoy clips they come with are light duty and suck in my opinion. The idea is good but I've tossed 2 of them off my blocks when the clips gave way.
I usually hunt where the water is deeper than they are useable in. I stick with Ace weights on 12 feet of Tanglefree line which handles 90% of my hunting.
It don't take long for a 11 foot tide to run you out of 42" of string!!!
