Yeah Brothers boats arent near expensive enough for you. Name another manufacturer who with the situation you were in would offer to build you not 1 but 2 boats and let you run both of them and buy the one you want? But I understand the deal they offered, you couldnt pass it up. No one blames you willy for paying $9329 for a boat that has some defects and then being told all they could give you was $5900 for it after one season. Heck thats a higher depreciation rate than brand new vehicles.

If he would have gotten his money back he would have recieved 5900 while paying over 9000 plus the rigging cost. So basically he had over 10000 invested in boat and trailer the way it sits now. Thats why he went with getting them to build him a new boat cause apparently their boats depreciate at a high rate.

They offered to build a boat 100% to my specs meaning bracing - which will be all 2x2 longitudinal runners and 2x2 cross braces above runners - they are going to camo this boat (current one is not) replace all my hydroturf bring my new one to my door and pick the current one up at my door

Not getting a V again but a regular flat pointed bow with pipe in bow for winch and other accessories then basicly the same options as I have curently because didn't need or want much else

if it were me... that bitch would never hit the water. I'd sell it as a new boat, get my 10 grand back, and go with someone I could be happy with. But... it's not my place to say! Hope you're happy with the second one Willy! What's going to happen if you use this one and are not happy with it again? That high depreciation rate might bite yore ass again! Hope not. Best of luck!

surely since the new one is actually going to be built right, you won't have any problems out of it...

Cope you appear to be straddling the fence there. Lawyer or fair deal?

The kid got what he wanted and still won't STFU.

That is all I am saying.

I realize you were just poking the bear when you made the orginal but willy should have just chuckled to him self and never posted on this thread, and the buddies of his that aired his dirty laundry in public, assuming he didn't want them to, are as big of puss's as he is.

She's not fighting for me by any means

Please tell me where I have whined? I made a lagit complaint on something that wasn't right and said very little on the previous thread (which I sure didn't start) and when I did post didn't say anything to bash anyone and didn't say anything that wasn't true.

The only thing I have complained about on here is speed and the reason I haven't gotten even close to speeds as 1848 is because of the bottom not being right.

I don't care about you and your problems or what you or anyone else thinks of PW bu to me and the conversations we have had about these issues and everything else with this boat have been good and informative and clear on where everything stands.

People keep saying "you picked that boat willy"

Who the hell ever said I didn't? Did I hand pick it and say I want that one? No because I trusted the folks building it would make sure it was right and it looked right when it left them, but PW wasn't there every second of them building this boat because he trusted the folks who had been building their boats for over a year wouldn't do something like they did.

It looked right and the bottom of the boat was flat when they got it and painted it but the think the memory of the crown was in the metal and I know for a fact that is a possibility and sure that is what happened.
Yall don't know everything that has gone on with this deal because I don't need to and am not going to disclose that info. The information gatorpoint revealed wasn't told to him until everything was settled and PW even posted on the other thread that if I wanted to reveal the information of the options I was offered then that was my choice. Gatorpoint decided to reveal it yes without me wanting him to but because he's mad because I didn't do what he thought I should do and didn't go with the boat builder he wanted me to.

Everyone who thinks or has thought I should do something different than let them build me another a boat wether it be my friends or somewhat friends or people I don't even know other than their user name on mmt yall don't know everything that has gone on in every converstion because I'm not gonna reveal that on here and even if you are a true friend of mine I don't remember ever single second and word spoken to tell you everything that has gone on

I made my decision to what I believe is going to be the best for me and after spending the money I have my decision will make it so I won't or shouldn't have to spend very little if any more money to get the certain things I like to have in a boat.

If for whatever the reason something doesn't turn out right or is messed up and I have to go through this again or worse I have already thought about that ahead of time and know that is an option but am hoping for the best and hoping that won't happen and I believe it won't and am putting my trust and faith into PW because the have offered me a great deal, and even though this boat won't be like any other phowler built, they have plenty of boats out there that perform well and have no problems so that is why I made the decision I have.

I know river will have something to say but I don't give a shit because you always have something to say about something and I don't care.

As for anyone else if you have something to say negative about it I don't care and for anyone who I know and call a friend or somewhat of a friend and you don't like it and are gonna be mad about it so be it and guess we weren't really friends in the first place.

I think PW actually treated him right on building him another hull. I also think Willett has been making his own decisions and not bending to the will of what others want.

This forum is full of people getting on here and voicing their opinions and weighing in on different subjects. There's certainly nothign wrong with that. If ya'll get your feelings hurt because someone thinks your boat is crap, or you made a wrong decision... grow up! it's the internet. Different opinions is what makes people want to come to this site and read.

Willett,

Sounds like you received a very equitable deal which even includes a few extras for all of your time and trouble.

May you enjoy your new Phowler. Post us up a review when you get it on the water.

The rest of us can now go back to minding our own business.
