 Transom Saver Ideas?
Any one rigged up or found any sure hold way to secure a PD motor while on the trailer headed down the road? Post pics or let me know. I have attempted several gadgets that work, but trying to figure out the best. We are trying out a galvanized road sign channel post next.

 Re: Transom Saver Ideas?
I've seen some use a boat fender and trim the motor down on it... the fender would be secured on both ends one on the starboard stern handle and one on the port basically suspending it between transom and motor.

Mine looks just like that - you just have to do a little cutting on the two tubes.

 Re: Transom Saver Ideas?
Has either prodrive or any of the boat fabricators recommended using a transom saver? I'm just curious why boats and motors that are designed to take such a beating would not be tough enough to bounce and flop going down the road?
