 key wont stay put! i cannot get this key to stay in!! it keeps backing out like this! i have tightened the two bolts and it still backs out! any suggestions??

drill and tap would be the best...
Never seen one that backs out like that...
Have you tried a new Key???

Re: key wont stay put! Tack weld a stop at the end of the slot so it can't slide out? Just make sure it doesn't obstruct the shaft sliding out. Just a thought. One little weld at the end of the slot would make it so it wouldn't come out.
