 Re: Dog Platform
I have an avery platform that I use to train with and use in different hunting and traing situations when there is ground, but I need a good one that I can use off the boat. Avery has another platform that works from the boat just wanted to see what all of you are using. New to the whole boat thing first boat always hunted in the prairie area.

 Re: Dog Platform
I use the Avery Double Duty from my boat and like it. It has a tree mode too but it sucks on cypress or any tree that flares out at the base. Can't get it to adjust to them. But I use a stand I made when wading anyway so no trees needed.

 Re: Dog Platform
depending on your water depth you can buy a sport stand which is alot like pokers custom one
It had back back style straps and even hasa decoy bag you can attach to it
Think it extends up to 54" tall or somewhere around there

 Re: Dog Platform
I copied the sportstand with mine. The best part is the independent leg adjustment on the design and opposing leg angles make it stable.

 Re: Dog Platform
I am new to the boat thing as well and was wondering if anybody has any pics of their dog on the stand attached to the boat in a hunting situation?
