Post Steelflex/frogspit
I am considering applying steelflex or frogspit to my boat. What are the differences in the two? Is the difference that noticeable in stumps and logs? Is it worth the 100 bucks or so and the effort to do it?

I applied the frogspit a few weeks ago and have been able to get out and run in various situations. The FS definetely helps you to slide over things easier. It almost works too good sometimes. I pulled up to a few frogs this weekend and wanted to hold the boat on logs, whereas before I would kind of stick there which is what I wanted, but now slide back down. If I am picking up the boat at a steeper ramp the thing just wants to slide back down. So overall, it does work.

There are people here that have the Steel flex and get the same results.

A major difference between the two is i don't think frogspit will assist you in filling in hooks on the bottom, but Steelflex will. It depends what you want to do.

If the stuff holds about for a couple years, I think its a pretty good return for you investment of time and money to do it.
