 Alabama Gator season 2010
We had a good opening weekend, our group had 2 tags, got a 12'9" 650# friday night and a 11'5" 415# saturday night. Big one took 5 1/2 hrs to put in boat.

 Re: Alabama Gator season 2010
Bay boat is a little different than louisiana huntin, we kill the bigger ones in main rivers 20-25' deep. catch em w a snatch hook on spinning rod w 100# braid then work em up to boat and get a noose on em. takes 4 or 5 people working together so that + deep water = bay boat. I think we would have sank my gator tail trying to get either one of them over the side.

 Re: Alabama Gator season 2010
Nice. I'm from Decatur Alabama but pass through your way on the way to the beach pretty often. Nice Gator by the way.
I live up here on the Tennessee River and we have some good gators but they won't allow us to hunt them.....legally anyway.
