I'm looking at joining one of two duck clubs. One is a smaller club with a small lease down below Bayou Dularge. The other is a larger club with huge leases in Leeville area. The dularge club would be more convenient to me, but I'm not sure if the hunting would be as good. I'd really like to join a club in the pecan island/grand chenier/forked island area but havent seen any openings. Does anyone have experience hunting these areas?

where at in leesville area? ive hunted sandy creek, no ducks there, maybe just a couple woodies. i dont really think anywhere around leesville would be a good duck club.

Never had to deal with duck clubs all we got on the Mississippi up here is all public land. That would suck to have to pay to hunt ducks

i am actually out past lost lake and across four league bay.... it is hit and miss sometimes but I have been going for 13 years now and have always killed.... not always limited but come close

BRCLA....got a friend that hunts PAF Island. Wherqas everybody else struggled last year from the start, they had their best year ever. Covered up in ducks from what he told me from start to finish. It was a year where they consistently limited out even with the little kids shooting as they wished.

I went with them about 3 years ago and that was some of the best hunts I have been on....ever. And then we would go catch redfish in the PM until we were blue in the face.

Great place...just a long boat ride from the berwick launch.

I have a cousin that had a lease along Bay Junop and they gave it up after striking out for three years in a row.

yea we are consistent... last year was a little rough... your friends must hunt south of us... i have been down there for like i said going on 13 years now.... the lease has been with us since the late 60s

to kill birds in leeville you gotta put a lil feed.you dont need a pond full like a retard but you need a lil bit in it at all times.
its a no-brainer,whoever gots ducks there,gots feed.
if you aint gonna feed a lil,stay in the fresher water!
